okr(s) : objectives and key results

kpi(s): key performance indicators

they do different things and can be used together. the tricky part is to find a way to track them accordingly.


usually keep constant during time, for ex:

  • new customers/month
  • quotations sent/month
  • returning customer requests/month
  • sales/month



are usually specific objectives, for ex:

  • objective: increase sales quarterly sales in 20%
  • result: sales last Q was X amount
